In order to preserve the integrity of the site, a screening process is used during the issuance of new accounts. Since the nature of our music contests is such that people want to know whom they're competing against, we need to know your name. (Sorry, no "handles"-- please be advised that accounts created without real names will be deactivated.)
The first step in the process is to enter your full name (first and last), your email address, and what you'd like your password to be. (Note: We absolutely will not give or sell your email address to anyone; we also will not use it to badger you. It is only used to send you an email with instructions on how to finish the sign-up process by activating your account. Needless to say, don't give us a fake email address, or you'll never get that email...and your account will remain inactive.)
